Роберт Эдмунд Кормье — американский писатель, журналист и репортёр, известный пессимистическими и мрачными литературными произведениями. В числе наиболее популярных книг — «Я — сыр» , «После первой смерти» , «Мы все падаем» и «Шоколадная война» , каждая из которых получала литературные премии. «Шоколадная война» была запрещена в нескольких библиотеках.
